Terms of Trade

Marina Dentists Limited (‘we’) is dental clinics in Auckland, New Zealand. We’ve experienced dentists and a dental hygienist. We aim to allow an efficient and high quality dental service in the most professional manner possible. Please read our terms and conditions below.

1. All our cost estimates for any type of dental treatments are inclusive of GST (at the current rate of 15%) and authorized for a period of 30 days the date of being provided to you.
2. Cost estimates can vary due to unexpected or unforeseen dental conditions during the course of the treatment. Your dentist will be advise of changes to the dental treatment map along with full costs before the proceeding to the following stage.
3. We accept payments for dental services provided to you’re in the form of cash, Visa, MasterCard, ZIP. We may have more options time to time. Please inquire with your dentist or the receptionist at our dental surgery.
4. Depending on the nature of your dental treatment, we reserve the right to request for a full advance payment or a portion advance payment, after which your dental treatment will commence. In the event that number advance is requested prior to the treatment, all our dental services will be paid for immediately following the appointment.
5. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment or failure to attend your scheduled appointment will incur a minimum ‘late cancellation fee’ of $30.
6. Your rights as a health care consumer are covered by the Health and Disability Consumers’ Rights. Marina Dentists ltd is in full support and compliance of these rights. If you have any concerns related to the scope of the treatment or costs, please contact us immediately for clarification.
7. If you think you will not be able to honour your financial commitments towards your treatment, please discuss with your dentist or dental hygienist prior to the commencement of your treatment. They will advise you accordingly.
8. Marina Dentists can provide you with a WINZ quote for your treatment, subject to eligibility and inclusive of any and all consultation fees. If WINZ declines your claim, the onus of full payment lies on you. Please advise the reception of our dental surgery accordingly on your arrival.
9. We reserve the right to apply an administration fee of $25 for any balance outstanding after 15 days of treatment. For balances outstanding for more than 30 days, we reserve the right to apply a $50 late payment fee, in addition to the administration fee of $25.
10. Any dental treatment undertaken with a phased payment plan must adhere to terms explicitly agreed between you and your dentist or dental hygienist at Smile Concepts. Any dilution in following the agreement by you will lead to normal account recovery procedures along with relevant administration fees and delayed payment fees, as applicable.
11. If you’ve not met your payment commitment for more than 45 days, we reserve the right to the services of a debt collection agency or adopt any other valid mechanism to get our payments. You’re advised that such actions our finish might adversely affect your credit rating in future.
12. Any costs incurred to recover outstanding payments will be fully invoiced to you.
13. You give us an irrevocable and non-exclusive right to collect, retain, share and your information for the purpose of assessing your creditworthiness or for obtaining payments you, against money owed to Marina Dentists. You also give your dentist or your dental hygienist an irrevocable and non-exclusive right to get information about you other private or government agencies in relation to your dental treatment.
14. Marina Dentists Ltd reserves the right to stop your dental treatment or not deliver customised dental goods love dental crowns, bridges, dentures, mouth guards, veneers or teeth whitening trays, payments are outstanding. Any dental treatment stopped by Marina Dentists won’t affect our right to gather any outstanding payment you.
15. Marina Dentists Ltd is bound by and will adhere to the Consumer Guarantees Act, 1993.
16. You’re not entitled to any credit or refund in the event of any dental treatment getting failed due to your negligence or due to clinical risks explained to you in advance, to which you’ve given your complete consent.
17. In the event of any variation of terms of trade, Marina Dentists will it on our website and also display the variations in the reception area. Proceeding with treatment amounts to agreeing with our varied terms of trade.
